History of DPGC
The Desert Pointe Garden Club (DPGC) was organized among residents of the Pointe South Mountain neighborhood. The first official meeting was held on January 9, 1995, at the home of Lila Kleinkopf. Lila initiated the idea of starting a Garden Club and served as our first President.
Desert Pointe Garden Club is a member of the Central District of the Arizona Federation of Garden Clubs (AFGC), the Pacific Region of NGC, and National Garden Clubs, Inc. We are a 501c3 charitable organization dedicated to friendship and community service. All proceeds from fundraising events is used for charitable purposes.
